4. Services, orders and prices
The basket shows fixed introductory prices for the stated package scope and selected quantities. Prices may change for future orders, but the basket submitted with your order reference records the prices you selected. Requests outside the stated scope are quoted separately and are never added without agreement.
For upfront packages, submitting a basket does not take payment or start a project. We review the scope, then issue written project terms and a Stripe-hosted invoice for a 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is invoiced before launch unless the written project terms say otherwise.
For Essential Monthly, Stripe Checkout collects the setup payment and any selected one-off add-ons. The separate 12 monthly payments begin when the website is approved or ready to launch, as confirmed in the written service terms. Payment confirmation alone does not mean work has started. If we cannot accept the order, we will contact you and arrange a refund of any setup payment taken.
If anything on this website conflicts with agreed written project or service terms, those agreed terms take priority. Nothing in these website terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
5. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Northern Digital Services owns or licenses the website's design, text, graphics, branding and code. You may view the website and print a reasonable copy for your own reference. You may not reproduce, sell, republish or commercially exploit a substantial part without prior written permission.
Client ownership and licensing arrangements are set out separately in each project proposal or contract.
6. Availability and security
We take reasonable care to keep the website available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may restrict or withdraw the website temporarily for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website content, third-party services, misuse of the website, or events outside our reasonable control. Project-specific responsibility is governed by the written terms agreed for that project. If you use this website as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
